Prudential Connecticut Realty Raises $318,000 for Charity
Firm Presents Check to The Sunshine Kids Foundation at 8th Annual Key Event
Rock Hill - CT , 2008 -- Prudential Connecticut Realty hosted over 1,400 sales executives and company employees on January 29, 2008 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford at its 8th annual Key Event. The event celebrated superior customer service by recognizing top service providers at the firm, as well as a presentation of $318,000 to the Sunshine Kids Foundation. G.W. Bailey, star of The Closer and Executive Director of the Sunshine Kids organization, accepted the check along with Nick Reyna, the 2006 Sunshine Kids national Spokes Kid.

The Key Event marks the culmination of Prudential Connecticut Realty’s year-long fundraising campaign for the Sunshine Kids Foundation. The donation will be used towards trips and activities for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
Prudential Connecticut Realty is the number 2 contributor, out of 700 Prudential companies nationally, to the Sunshine Kids Foundation. To date, Prudential Connecticut Realty has donated more than $1 million dollars to the Sunshine Kids organization. Area hospitals benefiting from the funds include Yale New Haven Hospital and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
