The Sunshine Kids Foundation provides exciting, positive group activities for children with cancer so that they can do what children should do – have fun and celebrate life. Thousands of children from hospitals across the country benefit from the foundation’s programs and events.

Corporations, foundations and individual donors fund The Sunshine Kids Foundation. The foundation’s programs and activities are free to children, families and hospitals.

Prudential Real Estate Affiliates adopted The Sunshine Kids Foundation as their network charity in 1991. Prudential Connecticut Realty adopted The Sunshine Kids Foundation as a company charity in 2002. Since then, we have raised more than $700,000 through charity events and donations. Young cancer patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center have enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Washington, D.C., New Orleans and New York City.

Sunshine Kids Ride for Hope
July 27, 2008
The Vernon office is sponsoring the SUNSHINE KIDS RIDE FOR HOPE, a motorcycle ride, on July 27 - RAIN OR SHINE. This poker run will begin @ TSI in Ellington and make 4 additional stops. At each stop, bikers draw a card. At the conclusion of the ride, prizes will be awarded for best/worst hand, most accurate mileage, and furthest distance! Four wheels welcome! An appreciation cookout w/live entertainment by "Cheap Thrills" will begin @ noon. Registration begins at 9:30 am; ride commences at 11:00 am. Donation $25 per motorcycle.
